Gasket between engine and Intake Manifold
Well I was going to put the my newly rebuilt carburetor back on, but then I noticed that there was a gasket between the intake manifold and engine that stuck above the manifold, but also had a bolt hole. I tried to look to see if it was solid metal behind it, but the gasket broke, and it seems like there is an opening behind it. I'm not sure if there should have been something there or what?

Oh, I actually emailed Ted at Engnbldr, and he said that it is just a heat sink, and that since the gasket still covers it a little, that dirt isn't really a problem, or something like that. It just made me nervous cause I look down and see an empty bolt hole and a loose gasket. But yeah, I guess it's nothing, so that's good. Thanks!
