Hello! I don't see a 1986 toyota pickup 22r FSM other than this one which is now a bad link.

http://www.ncttora.com/fsm/1985/1985FSM.pdf

At the top of the sticky it goes from 85 to 87, skipping 86. I can't find it either with a google search.

A couple of sites were hosting the FSM's but TOYOTA lawyers threatened copyright violations. I had my 2000 saved on my computer. The other day I cleaned up and deleted what I thought were duplicates and deleted it leaving only a Tacoma manual. DOH!

Try this link. In it's current form there are no manuals. I copied it into the Wayback and looked at April 2010. I was able to download my FSM again in mere seconds.

http://www.ncttora.com/fsm/index.html

Caution: DO NOT fall for the red "DOWNLOAD NOW" banner at the top of the page. It is an ad containing a redirect virus.

The link for the 2000 on page one here is in Russian. The ncttora is in English but it's for a 96 4Runner.

Wayback:

http://archive.org/web/web.php

So, in case I was not clear, open two tabs in your browser. Open the Wayback. Copy the TTora address. Paste it in Wayback. Wayback then asks you to pick a date. They show a calendar with dates highlighted. Pick one at least a year ago. I picked somewhere in April 2010. Select the manual you want and download it. Enjoy!

As you see, nothing really goes away on the internet....

could use a factory manual for the R&R

Ok, trying wayback right now. Wow it's there and downloading.

cool, slightly creepy, but cool!

I can't believe I never posted this. After the other site went down I "remade" it and hosted it on my own server...I was tinkering with HTML in the process so there might be some blips here and there. If there is let me know. Enjoy.

1987 toyota 4x4 pickup fsm automatic

Hey guys. I am new to the forum & recently purchased this truck. I apologize if I have over looked this as I am a novice forum user. I am having issues with shift solenoids on my a340H auto tranny & trying to troubleshoot. Along with this I am trying to decide weather to go ahead & swap to a 5 speed. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated & I look forward to being a member of this forum. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to yotatech. The auto to 5speed swap has been covered a few times. If you can't find what your looking for with our search engine the you google and add yotatech to the search words.

The best way to do the swap is have a complete parts rig right next to you for the swap. That way you have all the parts and can see how they go together. This swap does require good fab skills and a fair amount of experience. So good reading on here about it. Do a search with google and make sure you do your homewor. Good luck hope this helps
