front leaf spring hardware

ok, in the process of putting on the leaf springs.. (have about 20 hours into a lift that should take 2) I have totally roached the front bolt/nut contraption bs on the front leaf springs. Would it be kosher to use similiar sized SAE Grade 8 hardware from the local Screw-Value?

Yes, the spring pin is 18mm in diameter. You'll need to either weld the large size hole in the spring hanger in with an 18mm hole in it, or reuse the flange from the stock pin with an 18mm bolt. Or you can get replacement pins from some of the on-line parts places.

Or just make up a new spring hanger:

And then you can use plain old bolts:
