First post and I'm already in a pickle...

Yep, I'm that guy...

You know, the dude that joins a forum and his first post is a cry for help.

I need to know what this bracket is for and where it goes.

Whelp, turns out I don't have permissions to add an attachment yet. Anyways it's 'y' shaped, with a hole at its leg, a hole at the upper right arm of the 'y' and a nut welded to the back of the other arm which is threaded to receive a short 8mm bolt. I took a lot of pics, I've scoured the fsm, the haynes and chilton books and I can't figure it out. Maybe I need to step away from the truck for the first time in a week.

Since its my first post I'll give you a bit of background about me and the truck. I recently purchased an 84 extra cab, carbed, in great shape for $2700. It had 84k original miles, the interior is perfect and it ran great. But! The old man I bought it from never drove it. So after a month of leaking a bit here and there she finally blew the rear seal. So I put a timing kit, new gaskets throughout, both seals, an new clutch in it. It needs a few things, front axle rebuild for one, but it's practically brand new. I love it, but this bracket is killing me.

Help appreciated, pics will be forthcoming.

Its the power steering pump support bracket. The bottom hole on the y connects to the front of the engine and the top hole goes to the pump bracket. Don't have a pic but its pretty easy to figure out.
