That's quite a compliment coming from the Wabbit! Tyrone really needs a 3.4! Know anyone who could do the swap?!

Haha! That's what I thought! You make the swap look easy!

It's probably a good thing you're in Alabama or I would be handing you some paychecks!

I live in east Georgia and I hand Wabbit paychecks... He is worth it. You may have better options for shops in NC, but mine locally suck.

May I inquire about the A-pillar gauge pod? Brand? Fitment quality?

Can you give us more info about the A-pillar gauge pod? And the quality? And I am very curious about the gasket for the windshield. I picked up three stars this week, so a windshield is coming. My local glass guy was less than enthusiastic about finding me a windshield since there are molding clips and such that have to be replaced. (he literally declined trying to find me the necessary parts, even though I said I would pay additional...)

So I will have someone else do it, but I need info about the gasket.

I need to look up the info on the maker of the gauge mount, but I can tell you it was a very nice fit and finish. I just dyed it and mounted it, fit like a glove! I'll try to find the info today.

As for the windshield gasket, that info I don't know. When Tyrone was in for paint we had cleaned up the rust around the old windshield and I knew I wasn't going to go back with the factory trim. I actually showed my painter (who was lining up the glassman) some pics from this website of people who had changed to the rubber gasket and he took care of it. I can tell you it was not a Toyota part though, it was a universal piece the glassman located.

Yeah, it's not like it's show quality, but he did do a REALLY nice job. It's never been wet sanded or cut since it was painted. If I were to do that it would really improve the depth and clarity, but I'm happy with it the way it is.

A-pillar gauge mount came from truckpillars.com

I highly recommend their product.

Thank you for the info on the pillar gauge pod. I have an oil pressure gauge that needs a home higher than the lower dash area. And I will throw a coolant gauge and maybe a voltmeter also...

I will try and find a decent glass guy that can figure out the gasket option. My local glass guy is just lazy...
