Emissions Label?

is there any way to get a new underhood emissions label? mine has been worn off over the years, its still there but all the ink has pretty much been eaten away due to a oil leak....

they made a note on my inspection about not being able to read it.....

its the label that says engine family, complies to epa standards of whatever year light truck, has the plug gap, timing info, idle speed stuff on it.....also its either the same label or anotehr one about the vacuum diagram sticker and also that my truck is a CA version, not a fed

A canvas of the salvage yards for one that's not been so abused or the stealership are all of the options that I can think of.

I think you should be able to get one from the dealer. I know years ago when I rear ended someone in my Honda, the body shop replaced my hood and applied new stickers, all parts were OEM.

Sad to say I think the only place to go is the stealership. If I am not mistaken those are a one time sticker and are very easily damaged if you try to remove it at all

jimabeana, yes you can order them from the dealer. You will have to state what vin# you have and they will have one or order one for ya.
I even believe some online toyota oem webpages have them. Try searching toyotaparts4u.com
