Different sized tires-front and rear

I just bought used tires. I have 32's in the back and 31's in the front. It actually drives better in 2wd and has a smaller turn radius. But, it acted real wierd in 4wd and I had to rut it into reverse to get it out. Am I going to eat up my transfer case if I keep driving it like that? Thanks.

Yes, your driveline is putting the same ammount of power and motion into the axles but your tires are different causing the binding and evetually a catastrophic failure of something a lot more expensive than 2 tires.

^ Yup. NEVER EVER put it into 4WD with different size tires! Your gears will thank you tremendously.

By the way, we have a newbie section for questions like this.

Bad things will happen if you contiune to drive with different size wheels. Very bad things.
