Cranks great, starts great, runs 10-20 seconds, then dies.....

Like the title says, I've got a starting and/or staying running issue with my '85 Toyota 4runner.

Cranks and starts great, barely touch the button and it's running strong. Runs about 10-20 seconds, then starts to peter out, then dies. Cranks great, get a pop every once in a while, but won't stay lit.

If I let it sit for several hours, same deal, starts, runs, then dies.

I replaced the fuel pump about a year or so ago and the tank is full of gas since the vehicle mostly sits and doesn't get run much.

I haven't spent a whole lot of time on it yet, but I have checked the fuses under the driver's kick panel and they are all good.

Any ideas? I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,

See if there are any stored trouble codes in the ECU:

And give the fuel pump test jumper a try:

Could be you are either running off the cold start injector or perhaps the fuel pump is not staying on and the pressure is dropping off.
