Clutch Lines

I am putting a 5 speed in my 85 4Runner. Besides the master cylinder and slave cylinder, what parts do I need? I know I need the metal lines. Does anybody have some laying around that they want to get rid of or do you know where some are? Thanks.

Check out your local U-Pull It. There might be a few 5-speed setups that no one has touched. I know that there are currently 4 Toyota's in my local yard that have everything you would need.

There is one Runner in Augusta Pullapart. It had the clutch pedal stuff but tranny was gone. Idk about the slave or master. Didn't pay attention to those two things. I would presume the lines would prob still be there. VAS had several Yotas. That's where I got my 3RZ and everything for it. He had prob 10? Diff years/models/generations.

That runner in Augusta was pretty stripped out the day after it got there. I don't remember if the hard line was still there. I got the rear area sides off of it, and a few little bits.

You need the boot and shift plate from the trans. You are using ie. a top shift w-56 needs the boot from the same. Those suckers can a bear to find.

I did this pretty recently, so ask if you have specific questions.

BTW, the clutch line, the slave, the pedals, and probably the flywheel and clutch can all be sourced from a 2wd. Makes it a little easier to find.
