Chevy springs in the rear?

I've heard this is a good route for a nice flexible rear end in my '84 toy. What's the best truck to get them from? An S-10? I'd guess the full size truck springs would be too stiff.

I want soft and supple, I wanna near roll the truck when I take a hard right at 30km. Not really but the stiff Porsche like handling I have now is not necessary.

Also, spring perch relocation, due to the increased spring length I've heard you have to move them...do I have to move both the front and rear mounts? Or just the rear? I've had visions of a 1/4 eliptical setup to change the postition of the rear shackle mount.

I guess the last thing I've been thinkin about...with the most popular spring to use, can anyone give me an idea of what the ride height might be...a couple inches lift? Ball park figure would be nice.
