96 lt1 conversion

Hey everyone first post here, I have a 85 pick up that I am getting ready to drop a 96 lt1 V8 Corvette motor into. I already have the motor and am getting ready to order Yukon front and rear axle's along with a drive shaft extension. Going to be putting a GM 4l60e transmission in as well I'm just trying to think of everything else I'm going to need as I have not found any info on a swap like this, any reccomendations?

Up grade parts as the break !

What you really will have is a Toyota Cab on a custom drive train

The drivetrain was built for a little over a 100 horse power your going to around 300 horse power

Because everyone tends to like different brands hard to find ,hard and fast info.

Best of luck

Have your trans gone through by someone that knows them. Depending of the 4L60 it could be great or 15,000 miles and garbage from the factory. I got a good one behind my 99.5 5.3 silverado. Over 300,000 on a stock transmission and motor. I am the only one I know with that luck. Most have had to rebuild it 1 time at least.
