Hey folks,

Some last minute planning happening... Long story short, my 88 4runner got wrote off; it's the somewhat less seen 22re / auto combination.

Need a vehicle back in a hurry, not an automatic to be found (blown knee - can't drive standard anymore), however I did find a 84 extended cab 4x4 5spd needing an engine...

If I was to undertake the full drivetrain swap, beside having a wiring nightmare, are there any considerations besides moving the EFI tidbits (computer, wiring harness, fuel pumps, emmisisons crap) and tranny (and computer, and interior fit/finish) /tcase over to the 84? Will any of my driveshafts be re-useable, or will I have to get custom ones made?
