does anyone know of a stock driveshaft that is a one piece and not the two piece with the carrier bearing. becoming very hard to find for me round these parts. and truck did not come with one. thanks in advance.

 

the one that came in the automatic are one shaft,no center carrier, check your local wrecking yard for any toyota 85 thru 88 extra cab with and auto trans came with the single shaft drive shaft

 

You can just find some propellor flanges that fit the trans case and rear axle and have one made. Its not that expensive and most machine shops do it... they'll balance it too.

Whatever you decide, I'd advise to have a slip yolk in the center of it. Thataway you're not limiting the rear axle movement.
