Thumbs up 85 Pick Up Lot's of Play in Steering Wheel

Have a question for the experts I recently just did my Suspension Lift Kit it is a SkyJacker 7" Lift Kit w/Front & Rear Springs well lift looks amazing. Now my question is why is all of a sudden when I drive my truck there seems to be like 2-3" or play in the steering wheels and the truck at HWY speeds seems really unpredictable and unstable. Now what I first thought is that it may be the removal of the front stabilizer bar but that has nothing to do with how loose and disconected the steering feels.

Please Help.

Do you think I need an alignment as I called Skyjacker today and told them my truck wanders alot and seems unstable after the lift they said its the alignment.

Are you 'stock' or 'hi-steer'?

Well I scheduled an appt. for a new alingment tomorrow. As for the adjuster screw on the steering box no I have not and I will leave this for the experts. Also I don't have Hi-steer crossover steering I have the adj. draglink for now will get this part later as I ran out of money. Restoring an 85 Toy takes lot's and lot's of $$$$$ so I will buy this later.

adjust the drag link ....

easy fix really ... There are spring loaded "seats" inside the links .. (both ends) the "plugs" on the ends are easly adjusted for tension on the springs .
