Soooo.... Apparently the header I have on the ol' girl isn't smog legal in California.
The truck is an 84 (round exhaust port head) engine.

Last time I had the exhaust off of my old 85, I could almost swear that the holes on the exhaust manifold were round.

My question, is there a difference between the exhaust manifolds on the older 22r compared to the newer 22r?

 

Pretty sure the manifolds are the same except that there is only one center bolt on the bottom of early model pre 85 trucks. Should work as far as what I have seen.
