85 4runner Shocks?!!
So I am in dire need of replacing the shocks on my 85. What would everyone recommend? I'm looking for something that will give me an awesome ride on the road and perform on the trails as well.
I'm thinking about bilstein. Can I go with the 5125 12"?
I picked up the 4runner about a year ago and it's hard to tell what the previous owners have done (they didn't take care of it that's for sure). It had 33s on it when I first got it, so I'm assuming there's at least some kind of add-a-leaf on it or something.

X2 but there are a lot of shocks out there. From Rough Country (I think that's a generic Les Schwab brand), to Gabriel and others. Do your springs, if that isn't all that you want fixed, then look into the myriad of brands.

If you want a nicer ride replace the old cracked and worn out bed mounts with a new set of Polyurathane Bed Mount Energy Suspension makes them pair this with new shocks and save later for a set of new springs for Front/Rear and your Toy will be ridding like new again even if its 25yrs Old.
