I am working on a project truck and just need to know if a '85 2wd cab is the same as the '85 4wd cab. I took some rough measurements and I think they are the same, not sure though. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

From what understand, they are exactly the same except the hole cut out for the shifter and t-case. I have read several posts where people have swaped out 4wd cabs to 2wd cabs after they rolled their truck.

 

yep, they are the same! just going to have to cut a hole for the t-case shifter, and possibly relocate the tranny shifter hole. if you can work a sawzall you can do it!

The 2WD's gauge cluster even has a 4WD indic light, just no bulb.

 

Isn't there like a 6zillion page write up on the pirate board? I think it's called quasimoto or something like that....Check it out!
