84 22r not getting fuel

Ive got an 84 PU that i just put a used engine in with webber carb. I was not getting fuel so i drained the tank, blew out the fuel lines, replaced the filter, and added fresh gas. still no fuel. so i installed an electric fuel pump, still not getting any fuel. i have double checked that the pump is connected to correct fuel line and that none of the lines are clogged and i made sure to correctly install the pump and it is getting power when i turn the key. i tried searching but nothing turned up. Any ideas? thanks

If you were to remove the fuel line from the carburetor and turn on the fuel pump, do you get gas to flow out?

If so, you either have the fuel line going to the wrong port on the carburetor or the needle valve is stuck closed, not allowing the fuel to flow into the carburetor.

^What he said. Also the electric pump should be next to or as close as possible to the gas tank. That will help it last longer. Just make sure to have a FPR for the Weber cause it likes 2.5 psi. Unless you have a low 1-4 psi pump like mine. It tends to run at 2-3 psi max anyways.
