35s with no lift?
Hey guys. I currently have an 86 IFS 4runner with 35x15.5 tires on 15x8 rims and they fit perfect with some cutting. The frame is shot on that truck so I found an original solid axle car that I might buy but I'm wondering if my tires will fit on it.
Do the solid axle trucks have as much clearance as the IFS trucks? Are any of you guys running 35s with no lift?
Thanks!
All help is greatly appreciated!

Well Ill have to show this little gem I guess. 33's with no lift, cut fenders, and adjusted
(not cranked) for those idiots out there who think anybody how touches there t-bars is ruining there truck. But you ask me and id say 33's is about the limit for a comfortable well rounded and functional suspension setup without a lift. Especially when using lockers or wheeling it at all for that matter.
This thing did awesome everywhere.

I have run 33x10.5x15 on stock 40 series land cruiser wheels on my factory solid axled toy 4x4 with stock springs, and I would only rub just a bit in the front; however, when I ran the same wheel/tire combo with 1.5"spacers, the rubbing was way more than expected, and I had wondered if it was nearly equivalent to 12.5" 33s. I think a mild OME lift helps a lot, and while I love seeing stock suspensions and trucks kick but on the trails, a little up travel helps too.
