22re sludge

Have a little sludge buildup in the sides of the head and was just wondering is there any safe solvents or solutions to run with my oil to kind of help break the sludge down? Thanks guys.

There are several choices out there. GUMOUT has a maintenance set of products you could use.

RISLONE has a good reputation. (don't use the concentrate)

I'd go with RISLONE but I am sure there are many anti additive people and/or a million other ideas on what to use.

I have had good luck with Riselone as a mild cleaner. I have had it free up sticky valves and lifters without causing any other problems. It would be best to drop the oil pan and clean the sludge first, and possibly clean what you can off the head. You could even try a more aggressive cleaner then.
