22RE intake manifold coolant leak -Please help...

Greetings....
I have an old 1984 Toyota pickup with the 22re engine/5 spd tranny that I bought a few months ago for our lake house. It was running flawlessly until last weekend when I drove it around the neighborhood.... basically started to leak coolant. I parked it at the lake house and drove our other car back to our primary home in Georgia. Came back up to the lake house today (sunday) and this is what I saw....

In the front of the intake manifold there is a brass fitting (about the diameter of heater hose) that the coolant is leaking from as I poured water into the radiator. Looks like there "was" a hose connected to it but now it is nowhere to be found. Didn't have my digital camera with me, so can't provide a pic. Again, definitely looks like there was a hose connected to this brass fitting/nipple in the front of the intake manifold.....

Just so you know exactly where this is....if you stand over the engine and look where the rubber intake tube (from the air cleaner) goes into the intake manifold...basically down from there you will see a brass fitting.

Any ideas what this fitting is to and where in the heck did the hose go???? Thanks - Brian

Brian-

As best I can tell from the picture, you are missing one of what the service manual calls #1 or #2 water bypass hose that goes to the throttle body. Your supposed to be able to disconnect and reconnect them without removing the TB, but I had a tough time with mine the last time I had it off.
