22re fuel problem

After it warms up for about 15 min. it boggs down very bad at full throttle, like its starving for fuel. It does'nt happen when its cold. Any suggestions?

any codes? Check engine light? If none check fuel pressure and see if fuel pump is not defective....fuel filter? Ignition system? Whens the last tune-up you have done? Check for vacum leaks...?

Ok here is where im at. NO CODES AND NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS. New pump, new injectors, new coolant temp sensor, new pressure regulator, new fuel filter and different ecu. Still same problem. Any idea on where to start on ignition? The egr system has been bypassed and closed could this have anything to do with the problem?

What do you mean differenct ecu? Hope its not anything but OEM or thats prolly ur issue. The EGR is not the issue and won't affect it much as long as it sealed totaly off. Does the engine make any noise as this happens? Hows ur timing? If its too retarded then it can cause this. TPS may be the issue? Any Vacuum leaks? Check distributor, see if its in good condition with no cracks on the inside and or corrosion on contacts, same with rotor button. Mass Air Flow sensor? Hows idle? Air filter dirty?

I'm having kinda the same problem. I was driving my 85 pickup with a 22RE today and was in first gear creaping around a corner and it just died. Check engine light came on. I checked for spark and its gettin spark. The cap and rotor are new. I just replaced the fuel pump today after checking the fuel filter and finding out its ok. Plugs are new and so are the wires. What could it be?

Also if it sits for like 1/2 an hour or so it will fire but run for like 1 second and die.

With the key on should the fuel pump be running?

Any help would be great thanks Jon

Only if the fuel pump test jumper is installed:
