i have an 85 pickup 4x4 that has been converted from 22re to 22r. it runs great but the problem is the head lights are wired to the alternater and thats all that works. no dash lights,no temp guage, no turn signals , no taillights. and there are wires cut every where. how can i get all these to work again.

That sounds like a HUGE pain. Best thing I can tell you is to tear out all the unused crap and get a wiring harness out of another 85 with a stock 22r. Either that or find a wiring diagram and duplicate it piece by piece.

 

what about the fuse panel and computer.i mean wires are cut at the fuse box also

 

You must not wheel much. Should look into swapping back into a 22re. They are better at extreme angles. Again if your just DD than Your better of finding a 22r harness

 

actualy i wheel alot. i just buy all 84-85's i find for under a grand they selll real fast around here. thats how i built my rig 88 SAS runner duals with 4.7,5.29's,dirty 30's,custom shafts.hydro assist,custom spring pack, custom axle wrap trac bar,custom tube half doors,35 12.50toyo mt onroad 38 12.50 tsl bias offroad and built myself and when i say custom i mean my own design .i took nothing from family finance or income. some of the ones i buy i part out some i just resale. i've been thru 10 in the last year. i sold that one today and did nothing to it bought for 500 sold for 850. its the first time i seen that prob on one. i just found the site i will post some pics soon.

 

if you buy and sell so many. why dont you just find one cheap enough to steal parts from to fix yours
