22R carb adjustment

I have a 1985 Toyota truck with the 22R engine and I put in a new carb, and new distributor. After installing the new parts, the truck started to diesel when shutting the key off. I have adjust timing and installed new spark plugs that is one range colder than stock. Truck still runs on when I turn the key off. I stall the engine in first gear when I shut it off.

I want to try and adjust the mixture on the new carb. I need to know which direction richens and which direction leans the mixture. Any help will appreciated Any other thought about curing the run on problem would help too. Thanks

dieseling can only be solved by the anti deisel solenoid doing its job, cutting fuel from the idle circuit.
That is, unless the car is idling on the main jet and not the idle circuit alone, as it should.
Is the anti diesel solenoid plugged into a source that onyl gives 12 volts when ignition key is in the "on" position?

The cut off solenoid was the first thing I checked. I removed the new one and replaced it with the one on the old carb since I know it worked. I think there may be a problem with the wiring. I will check and see if it is receiving 12V all the time or only when the key is on. I figured that if the solenoid was bad then the fuel would be shut off all the time, not thinking that maybe it was always getting 12V to the solenoid. That would keep it open all the time.

The engine does not diesel when it is not really warmed up and I turn the key off. It turns off like it should.

Thanks for the input and I will test it tonight.
