whats this

i dont have a CLUE what this is ...what it does ..why its there ....or anything..could somebody please help me out..its the part between my T-case and tranny...mines cracked from my recent F-driveshaft shear....so i need to know what its called...and if anybody in oklahoma has one!!!

*EDIT* its the piece around the center of the pic that has a couple HUGE cracks in it

if im not mistaken thats a bellhousing.... lol. correct me anyone if im wrong. do me a favor though.... next time you have your rig up on a lift, POWERWASH or STEAM CLEAN that undercarriage! thats DIIRTTTY!!!

yea yea yea i know my underside is dirrrrty as all get out...but its nto my fault...(PO)..anyways...i didnt know the T-case had a bellhousing...(im 16 im still learning more and more everyday off of here)...any more help would be GREATLY appreciated...

P.S. i have no lift..so its kinda hard to powerwash it...but i will sometime..it will take some HEAVY DUTY TO GET ALL THAT OFF!!!!...bout...27 yrs of gear lube...grease...oil...dirt...all kinds of ...idk even know if our 2400PSI pressure washer will do it..lol

A degreaser like simple green and a scrub brush would take that off there, even just hot water/dish soap and a brush would do it, I wouldnt take a pressure washer to it myself.
