What header is the best for a 82 Toyota

Talking What header is the best for a 82 Toyota

I have heard different opinions on different ones and want to know what yall have and if you like it and also what not to get.

Are you looking for power gains or a different exhaust sound ?
Cause, you will get a different exhaust note and minimal power gain, if at all.

But if your intent on a header I would suggest doing a search on this site. Lots of discussions over headers, brands, quality, installations, etc.

True. The stock set up is actually pretty good as is. Especially on the older trucks.

Unfortunately I don't know how to make these links show up as pics, but if you look at them you will see the manifold is already a 4 into 2 set up...

...and the downpipe for the 22r as compared to the 22re is much more header-like. So you pretty much already have a tri-y header. Maybe you could see a slight difference with a bump up in size to 2 or 2 1/4 inches from the cat back. Also, if it is original parts to the truck, you may see some improvement just from a newer, better flowing, unclogged cat.
