ok i have an 81 toyota pickup when i drove to town today it satarted making a weird noise in the front (not sure where) i just replaced my water pump,belt,clutch master cylinder and clutch fan. its never made andy noises like this i cant remember how to explain the noise but it gets louder the faster i go and when i stop it goes away.


please help i need to get this fixed before i start bucking hay

it was a ticking but it went away

 

are either of your hubs locked, or the t-case in 4wd with the hubs unlocked? sounds like bad u-joints, but the front shaft won't turn unless the case or hubs is engaged.
