The bigger stuff (engine, axles, transmission) it probably gonna have to go by truck Freight, which kind of sucks because you have to find a company that has a dock close to both point of origin and point of destination.
What I have done in the past is to use a bathroom scale, been pretty accurate for getting the weight. I just weighed my fat a$$, than picked up the object (those I could lift but not fit on the scale) and subtracted my body weight from it.
oh and all fluids have to be drains and all crud cleaned off of them...hope this helps.

here is how a guy on the Trekker Forum shipped a third member, wrapped it in card board and used cardboard tubes to make up the difference. I think a third weighs around 60 or so:
