Weber snokerl possible?

Weber snokerl possible?

Is it possible to put a snoker or at least some kind of water shield on a weber, getting a bit bad lately and its getting old cleaning the filter every night I go out mudding links would be awsome thanks.

measure the intake and head to the local home depot/hardware store and get some appropriate flex pipe. I have never seen (other than australian trucks) a 1st Gen with what would be considered a direct bolt in snorkel. They have been home made jobs or highly tweeked Safari Snorkels.

You should be able to make a splash shield out of some plexiglass...hope you don't hydrolock your engine....that can be expensive

You can buy a snorkle mount From K&N that bolts to the top of a weber and then you just need too make your own plumbing and snorkle. It looks pretty sweet im probally going to get it to make my own cold air intake.

I orderd one from redline in washinton today, it was 110 for everything execpt the pipe and filter but thats only like 20 bucks, Im gonna eventually get a safari a couple months down the road this is really just to keep the water from having direct access to the filter. Ill post some pics when I have it up.
