Which Weber- 32/36 or 38?
#1
I am going to get a Weber for '82 2wd 22r. I want to know what the difference is on mileage / performance compared to stock. I figured the 32/36 because its an improvement, but if the 38 gets close to the same mpg's then why not kick more anus? Its my DD but more power is always better... If anyone has a setup like this with a Weber, hit me up and let me know what you think.

I just got my 32/36 and fuel pressure regulator put in this last month and it works great. I have not gone through a tank yet, so I don't know the mileage.
My basic understanding is the 38 would be good if you plan to do work on the cam and exhaust, otherwise you are not really able to use the extra fuel from the 38 to do any thing else except decrease the mileage.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Also, check this thread for the proper way to tune the carb. I did it and found that the factory setting was about 1/2 out too much.
