Hi, I am in the middle of rebuilding my W50 transmission. The retaining clips they used are not standard clips, they are rather thick, and difficult to remove. I bought some similar sized snap rings, and paired them up to equal the thickness of the stock retaining rings.

Has anyone done this before?

 

did this end up working out for you? I'm running into the same problem on my W50!
