We have a 79 2wheel drive and have a 350 with a 350trans laying around. Anyone done it, or know where we could see it?

 

it's been done, i'm not aware of any pics of 350 swaps into '79-83 trucks, but there's at least one guy on this board with a 350 in a 4runner.

i've seen a 350 put into a '81 4x4, it's a tight fit but not too bad looking. in a 2wd truck, i think your biggest issue is clearing the oil pan. it'll definitely burn tires -- i'd suggest upgrading to an 8" diff if there isn't one already in there!
