Pertaining to the '79 - '83 era trucks... is the 2wd cab the same as the 4wd cab? If not, what are the differences?

And, what all has to be done to put a '79 - '83 cab onto a '84 - '89 frame? Or is it even worth it?

I'm just thinkin' out loud... thanks for the help.

 

I know that the fenders on the 2wd are smaller than the 4wd

 

2WD cabs don't have the cut out for the Transfer case lever. Not sure about transfering the 1st Gen cabs to a 2nd Gen frame. It would be an interesting conversion...

 

No one has ever put an early toyota body on a later frame?
