Hi all
New to yota tech but it looks like yall know a lot of toyota know how and i need some help deciding what to do here.
Just got a 1980 2wd pickup that is an automatic. Looking at all the other posts i have not seen any detailed pictures or diagrams to how to do this for what i need to get this done.

Looking at getting a w55 transmission out of a newer model toyota, hear they are pretty reliable. And checking compatablility issues i have not seen too many except maybe shortening the driveshaft possibly and making a new cross member for the new tranny to rest on.
Any help here would be much appreciated.
