Smog change from cali to federal
So I had my thermostat housing bolts break off in my intake manifold a few weeks ago and have recently bought a new manifold to replace it, but it doesn't have one port on it that I need, which is the BVSV from underneath the thermostat housing. After looking through the vacuum diagrams for a way to bypass that valve, I tried rerouting the vac lines that were on the valve to bypass it. It worked (sort of) but I'm idling rough now. I was wondering if anyone here has had to go to another smog setup due to a similar problem or has some advice other than just desmogging the whole thing(although that isn't off the table completely, just looking at other options before I go buying parts if I may not have to). Also, the vacuum diagrams show that valve as a BVSV for SC, what is it and what does it do? My old one was mangled during the epic struggle to remove it from my old manifold, I was thinking of just drilling and tapping it into the new manifold, but that seems pretty lame if I can just bypass it without risking damage to another manifold. Oh, and before anyone states the obvious, I already asked Kawazx636.
