Should I reuse gaskets? RTV? or both?

Should I reuse gaskets? RTV? or both?
Im installing a used transfercase, forward shift. and it just soo happend to have the gasket on it still not torn and in pretty good shape. My question is can I reuse it or should I just use that grey silcone gasket stuff? or both?
