Removing Front Fenders 82 2wd

Hi everyone,

Going to get some fenders off a parts truck later this week and was wondering if there was any special things I should know about getting them off. (Hidden bolts, adhesive, etc) Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Less obvious bolts are behind the bumper end caps, behind the front marker lights, at the very back very top only accessible with the front door open all the way, and down at the bottom rear corner near the rocker. The top surface is glued to the body, Careful prying or just working the fender back and forth will separate it.

Also how do I go about removing the antenna?

Unplug the antenna from the radio. Remove the inner fender and unbolt the antenna from the body. Remove the entire fender and antenna as one piece while carefully feeding the wire through the port in the body.
The antenna tightens down from under the fender so it's best to just remove it all together.
If it's a nice OEM antenna try to get it included because they are not cheap to buy. Without it rain will definitely get into your cab.

Also, I've had the fender bolts at the bottom of the cab so rusted in they just twist off. Probably not a problem with a parts truck but in case you want to keep any fender bolts, don't count on those.
