I only have a minor question & a bit of honest braggin, Ok so I got my 1980 4x4 Hilux short bed w/ 159556 lol. I paid 50$ 4 her. I had a little stall in the project but never sold her w/ many great offers. I got a 22R with 160k original miles outta my uncle's 1980 2wd. I got fresh motor mounts & Fresh hoses, clutch &flywheel starter ect everything you'd need 4 a engine transplant. I'm only running stock 410s right now so I bought brand new handcook A/Ts 31/10.5/15 LTs I'll b happy to jus drive her. But ima upgrade to 430s later & a Weber carb & offenhouser intake & ima get a cam & that's why I'm posting (besides braggin) any good suggestions??

 

no need for a cam and all that if runnin 31in tires, 31in tires and a weber will be just fine, maybe a header if youd like, now if you were rumnning 33s (which will fit also) then maybe go for a cam, and pics also!

 

Wel I wanna upgrade to 433 gears & a offenhouser intake w/ a Weber 4brl but I was thinking a cam that'd build power from 0-3500 rpm & the 433s 4 some 33inch tires & a k&n air filter also I have a 16inch chevy cavalier electric fan ima plum in to bring up mpg & hp aslo my water pump will last longer & work less. My dad taught me that he put 2 16 inch fans on his 77 Chevy 4x4 short bed w/ a 512 Cadillac engine & 1 ton axles w/ Turbo 350
