ok so I am looking into doing a leaf swap on my 83 toyota I have been planning on doing 63" chevies but now I am leaning toward the F-150 swap (looks easier) so what are the steps for the F-150 swap? and how much lift is gained and what year leafs do I need?

comparison

63' chevy leafs
new front hanger
new shackle hanger
new shackle

F-150 leafs
new front hanger
stock shackle hanger
stock/lifted shackles

to me the for swap looks cheaper and easier (less work)
any body run F-150 leafs on there 79-83 4x4 any pics?

Well it really depends on what your truck is going to be used for.

The chevies offer a lot of travel and have a great ride because they offer lift without crazy arch.
Sky manufacturing offers a kit for the rear chevy swap kit complete with hangers and shackles.
