Hey Guys i just got my rig put back together. New Motor (22r), new clutch, new pilot bearing and new slave cylinder and new Marlin Crawler Top cover. The Clutch and shifter feel amazing compared to before the rebuild! forward gears 1-4 work tight and flawless but no sign of reverse. It does not even grind i can completely let off the clutch and still nothing. The reverse worked fine before i replaced the top cover. Any ideas on what it could be? at this point i either need to drop the trans back out or pick the cab up to see the guts and see whats going on i guess... Any opinions on what is easier? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

 

you got the shifter in wrong check it over and the linkage too

 

There is no linkage. Its a topshift trans. But what would be easier dropping trans or picking up the cab? I have a hydraulic 4 leg lift that i could pick the cab up with... Realy dont want to drop the trans again.

 

Drop the trans, too many lines, wires, and hoses that will be too short to give you any room to do anything if you try to lift the cab.
