so the old 22r is runnin after the carb fiasco.but now i gotta slight knock around 3grand.
sounds like a rod knock,but could it be timing chain??
when i start it up i hear a rattle which leads me to believe timing chain is suspect.the knock isnt there at idle or 2grand but when i get it to 3 its there.and only when its warm.dont want to put money in it and fix the wrong issue.

 

well turns out im just gonna rebuild it.i got bad bearings and bad t-chain guides.lots of hard plastic in the oil pan.it really is amazing that little mouse was runnin at all.
