So Im still re-gearing the front diff and need to pull the axels out a couple of inches to get the pumpkin off, I only got to the drivers side so far but the axel wont come out. The birfield mysteriously slipped out without too much struggle but the axel itself wont come out. Am I missing something? The entire knuckle is off and steering disconnected, differential is unbolted and drained. Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: Not sure if this makes a difference, but the diff might have a locker in it, I have read that some lockers have a pin (?) to keep the splines in the third member. Not sure how this would work but I am stuck at this point. I will try and pull passenger side knuckle and see if I can push the axle out from that side but again, any insight would be appreciated.
