Your looking for an 86 to 89 ifs rear I believe but it is not a direct bolt in, at least mine wasnt. The spring pad is wider on the ifs rear and the axle housing is physically larger in diameter so your factory u bolts wont work, you will need to buy a flip kit. Also realize that when you buy said flip kit the top plate comes drilled for the narrower spring perches like what was on your factory axle so you will have to drll them out 1/4 inch each side. This leads to the next issue, shock mounts. Since your shocks mount the the factory u bolt plat (at least mine did) and now this is gone in favor of the flip kit you will have to relocate the shocks with different mounts. I did not have an e-brake on mine so I dont know if this would be an issue or not. That is all I can think of at the moment that you will need to take into account.

86-95 rear axles will work, except 90-95 4runners.
usu the u-bolts and u-bolt plate from donor truck.
buy the lower shock mounts from trail gear for the axle side.

front range offroad makes a solid axle widening kit to make it the same width as the rear axle too.

I just used my 81 mounting plate, till i get a flip kit. We tightened the u bolts with an impact gun, it bent the plate around the axle tube, not ideal, but we are positive its not coming off, and it still allows me to use my stock shock mounts.
