So I am trying to figure out where the linkage comes from that goes to this lobe on the secondary choke plate:



It is on the secondary barrel (To the right if you are looking at the front of the engine.) and looks like a choke plate with a hole in it.

I need to know how that plate behaves during different throttle positions.

Engine off, air cleaner assembly off:

1/4 throttle: Is it locked in any position? Are you able to open it with your fingers?

1/2 throttle: Is it locked in any position? Are you able to open it with your fingers?

3/4 throttle: Is it locked in any position? Are you able to open it with your fingers?

Full throttle: Is it locked in any position? Are you able to open it with your fingers?

There is a vacuum modulator that actuates a cam, I am wondering if it has anything to do with that fuel metering plate (Choke plate with the hole in it.) If it could be manually drawn in by hand, and the tests repeated (Engine off) it would make the results more accurate.

The vacuum modulator is called the "Choke opener" about middle- left in this picture:



Pictures of the mechanism up close from an old carburetor would be immensely helpful!

I am flat out missing the mechanical linkage going to that tab.

If anyone can help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it.
