its weird hearing ppl sya they have never seen a 1st gen before i see them all the time around here, and most of them are driveing, i wish i could find one sitting in someones side yard and i could offer like 500 bucks for it and have an awesome little 4x4, altough i already have one it would still be cool.

1st gens are absolutly getting more rare .. and trekkers , well what can I say , most people dont even know what a Trekker is ... they think Suziki trakker or something .

1st gens use to be around here in volume . but these days they have been all cut up and modified , or mickey mouse'd together , beat to crap , rolled , and scrapped .

I think there are only 1 or 2 running around here now that are 1/2 decent .. finding 1 in good shape ::: hahaha .. thing of the past !!
untill I get mine on the road

.

I know how the coast can be, it's pretty brutal. More times than not, an older truck coming out of the bay is rusty. There are some diamonds out there though. And with the sure number (it seems) of first gens that come out of the bay, some of them by default are decent. And the number of decent ones there, seem to be equal to the number here. I'm referring to Craigslist of course. I see tons of first gen 4x4s driving around here (82 in the garage), but not many 2x4s. There seems to be more of those in the bay.
