Apparently my response was taken wrong... My post was in response to the body lift, not the truck. The truck is pretty awesome! Sorry 'bout the confusion.

Lol, its ok....

Like I said, I didn't do the lifting, and I would have tried to do things a little differently. But in the builders defense, I don't think it was possible to put that body on the chevy frame with the 350 motor without any sort of body lift. As it sits right now, the ignition cap is about an inch from hitting the firewall, and the radiator is not far from hitting the hood.

OR you could skip the frame swap and put the motor in the Toyota's chassis... A frame swap from a completely different vehicle sounds WAY harder than a motor swap to me. lol

believe me I've completed last week a yota cab on GM k5 frame and 350 engine... shoulda just swapped the diffs and engine in the yota instead! if you want to locate the diff in the wheel wells correctly you got to relocate the firewall 8'' backwards...

and DSMISS is right, mine sits at the same height and the engine barely clears after the cutting....

I've owned two trucks with the wings, and now this one without. I like em without personally, just cause the window is bigger, and I can hang out the truck farther. I hadn't really noticed until you mentioned it.

She came with the mirrors. I know they are not toyotas....so apparently they are Chevys, cool. I like em, I had your mirrors once, they always seemed to drift up when I drove from the vibes

Ah who needs em, I had an 81 2wd once that only had a side view mirror on the drivers side, no passenger. Came stock that way in 81. My dad had to get them to put one on or he wouldn't buy it
