A few pics of my stock 81 toyota
Here's the link to a few pics. The truck is stock and will remain relatively untouched. Planning for downy 3" suspension lift, steel rims, 31" tires and matching canopy with rack.

Jesus, did you buy that thing brand new then just drive it home and park it until now? That thing looks like it could have just come off the lot. I will probably never see a 1st gen like that up close in my life. Rather sad. Beatiful truck though. Im guessing you will probably keep that truck to the end and be buried with it lol. Amazing.

Keep it. My dad has a 82 w/ 64K on it. He bought it new and is never gonna sell it, especially if I have anything to say about it.

Here's my 83, I paid $1200 for it and have put $800 into it for 25,000 miles. Last month (jan 2009) i put a rebuilt head off of an 82 and rebuilt the birfields.
I'm trying to get my heater to work at -30 below zero hence the insulated hood which has helped a little, next full flush and more engine bay sealing.
I'll post pics of my other 3 truck when i get a chance, also I got 1 84 ex-cab and an 85 that is torn down but I kept the cab because i have went through 4 second gen. before I found my 82. I'll dig up a few more pics.

LOL yeah that's about all she's good for with open diffs, I'll put some money into offroad mods once construction season rolls around..
Future mods
-rebuilt engine with a little more pep(next winter's project)
-6" lift running 35" tires
-5.88 gears Full time rear locker, selectable front
-shorten back to rear leaf hangers
-A little better body armor(slides, roll bar of sorts, and front bumper)
- maybe another can of yellow or two
Ahhh the paycheck season will soon be upon many Alaskans, I wonder what parts i'll get to the shop first, anyone have something I might be interested in?
