Help with 82 4x4 rear brake R&R

I just got back from three of our local auto parts stores and I am totally confused as to what is what.
Apparently there are quite a few options for this little 82 truck when it comes to the rear break cylinder, hardware and shoes.
I was asked if my truck was 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, or one ton. The cylinders are different based on these choices. I assume my truck is a 1/2 ton but I have never heard it called that.
In addition to the cylinder issue there is a shoe size difference. there are two options for the shoes. One is 1" 31/32nd and the other is 2" 3/16th. I have no idea what my truck calls for. I have looked in my chilton, the 82 book and on the web.
Any insight would be a great help.

Anytime I'm in doubt I match the parts to the VIN at the dealer and then crossmatch if I want to get at the local auto parts.

Yes thats an excellent idea however the dealer is closed on sunday and the Toyota website wasn't any help. I was hoping to get a quick response on Yota tech.

Does the 1/2 ton require the 1" 31/32 or the 1"/16th shoes
