Hello to everyone. Just brought this 1979 home the other day, planning on taking this down to the frame. Pretty much zero rust, but needs some love.

Posted in the photos thread too, but I'll post here. Nice score! I've seen that truck sitting in its driveway for at least 8 years, never driven, lightbulb underneath the oil pan in the winter for warmth anyways. A guy I knew tried to buy it from him a few years back and he wouldn't sell it. I noticed it was gone the other day and wondered what happened to it. Glad you picked it up.

He was going to start driving it again but I guess he's happier with an old Ford pickup for some reason...worked out well for you!

I'm even trying to figure out if I know where you are just from your driveway but nope! I'd recognize that other truck. But I've actually never seen it driving around town. Van looks familiar but there are a few of those around I'll stop being a stalker now. Just got a little excited when I saw the 5 plates, and realized what truck you bought.

Great canvas. Lots of potential for something great. Looks like you're off to a great start.

Thanks for sharing.

Well thanks guys. Started working on it and am not sure what I'm even going to do with it. Was thinking of an original restore, but not sure now. If anyone is looking for the AC, I would part with all of it. Make an offer? I'm not going to hook that back up. Also the 20R is most likely going.
