Fuel Filter issue fixed?

Yeah the diaphram didn't rupture, so I don't think they mixed at all. The lever that goes into the cylinder head moves a metal plunger, which moves the diaphram. The lever connects to the plunger with a metal washer and a plastic washer. Somehow both of those sheared off, so the lever was just scraping against the plunger instead of moving it up & down.

I had mud, rust, bugs, leaves you name it in the bottom of my tank and well the ENDless number of loggin roads up here shakes up all the crud up,then it sucks it through my filter But I think im good to go this summer.. drained my tamk and ran a garden hose through it for a few hours

Ok, so it's not necessarily that dirty roads get dirt in the gas tank, they just shake up anything that's in there so it can flow through the lines?

Yes exactly, then it just clog up the filter pretty quick. But you have a box with the proper filter pocket so your in alot better shape then me. When I go fill up with gas i have to knock all the mud and dirt off my gas cap before I open it up. The 1 down side of my flatbed
